When I downloaded steam and tried to download Rainbow six Seige it downloaded a small like 750mb download and then said 'Download Complete' which was odd seeing that the game is alittle over 60GB so when I clicked 'Play' I got an error that said 'game is only supported on 64 bit systems please refer bellow to see about getting a refund' Which is expected becuse I shouldnt be able to run the game on my 32bit OS but as far as my knowledge goes it did not allow me to download the full version of Rainbow Six Seige. UPDATE: So when trying to do what I have done it did not seem to work. and if I try this method using the 32bit OS on my work computer there is no grantee that my game will work. The biggest one: there's probably a reason why the developer wanted to go to 64-bit, to get over the 3/4 GB RAM limitation.ДЇrom what I am understanding is my safe bet is to try and do what I am doing just using a 64bit computer so the files are as compatible as possible. You still need to develop and test two more or less whole versions of the application So the 64-bit version would simply be superfluous. Even if the game had a 32-bit version, there would be no point in a 64-bit version because all of the core features were designed around the 32-bit version. Said libraries may not have one version or the other The game needs 32-bit or 64-bit libraries depending on if it's 32-bit or 64-bit. The question is if that is the normal way Steam games will behave, or does it pick a specific version based on the OS in some cases?Д«ut to reiterate and to add, it's safe to assume there's only one version of a game because: (If it helps or something, the games I would like to do this with are Rainbow Six Seige (mainly) and possibly Rocket League)

A user on the post linked bellow had told me that I should probably just use an external hard drive download steam on there and my games so when there's an update all I really have to do is, take my external hard-drive to work and updateВ my games and go back home and play. This means when there is an update for a game I have to update it either by taking my PC to work and updating that way or find another way to updateВ my games which dosent require leaving my phone tethered to my PC for Days on end.
